La réunion d’aujourd’hui est passée du travail de réflexion sur l’exercice de la primatie et l’objectif et la nature de la Réunion des Primats, au rôle, à l’objectif et à la composition du Comité Permanent des Primats. Les Primats ont suggéré que le comité pourrait remplir des rôles supplémentaires à leur participation au Conseil Consultatif anglican (ACC) et au Comité Permanent, tels que « maintenir» la vie, la vision et l’esprit de la réunion entre les Réunions des Primats; aider à former leurs futures réunions, et agir en tant que groupe consultatif pour l’Archevêque de Cantorbéry.

Reunión de Primados - Comunicado No. 4

La reunión de hoy pasó de la labor de reflexión sobre el ejercicio de la primacía y la finalidad e índole de la reunión de primados, a la consideración del papel, propósito y composición del Comité Permanente de los Primados. Además de asistir al Consejo Consultivo Anglicano (ACC) y el Comité Permanente, otros roles propuestos para el comité por los primados incluyeron el “mantenimiento” de la vida, visión y espíritu de reunión entre las reuniones de primados; ayudar a darle forma a sus reuniones futuras; y actuar como grupo consultivo para el arzobispo de Canterbury.
